I received a call May 1, 08 from Rick at Weber. (He always calls when there is something really exciting). He sounded pretty excited about this mandolin and, as he has never led me astray, I ordered it.

Then, of course, I asked him the price.

When I regained consciousness, he began to tell me how at that moment they had a Loar in for some repair work and he had comapared the two - apparently the Weber held it's own just fine. He was still pretty excited, so I figure that though it's expensive, it will still be worth the money.
