Ukebrand Ukes - Solid Koa Ukuleles

The Ukebrand Ukulele's are some of the prettiest examples I've seen. In the early part of the 20th centruy a company named Kumalae won first prize for their instruments at the Pan - Pacific Exposition in San Franciso and these Ukebrand instruments were inspired by these fine old classics.

They have excellent fit and finish. They are made of solid koa. The tonal balance is sweet and rich, just as you will find in the fine old vintage instruments which inspired them. Look at the wonderful patterns in this highly figured koa. Look at the wonderful golden colours. Under sunlight they take on those fantastic highlights for which koa is so renouned.

Playability of these delightful little instruments is wonderful. Smooth fingerboards, perfect tonality, and marvelous necks contribute to their ease of play.
