STANDARD SIZED SOLID WOOD DULCIMERS

These finished dulcimers are in the traditional hourglass shape with the exception of Model 71 which is a teardrop shape. They all feature scroll heads, heartshaped sound holes, fourstring set up, nickel/silver fretted fingerboards with strum hollow, quality mechanical tuning machines and solid wood tops and backs. Each have a lacquered, hand-rubbed finish. Length, width, and depth are 32" x 7 1/2" x 2 5/8". Scale length" is 25 7/8".

Model 56

JUMBO SIZED SOLID WOOD DULCIMERS

A longer scale and deeper body give these deluxe dulcimers more volume and a richer tone. They feature scroll heads, heart-shaped sound holes, four-string set up, nickel/silver fretted fingerboards, deluxe chrome mechanical tuning machines and bookmatched solid wood tops and backs. The Deluxe models, (#88Deluxe and #81Deluxe), have Rosewood fingerboards with Mother-of-Pearl position dots and Rosewood stripes on the backs. These hourglass shaped bodies have lacquered, handrubbed finishes. Length, width, and depth are 36" x 7 7/8" x 3 1/8". Scale length" is 29 1/4"

DULCIMER KITS

We provide an easy to use, illustrated instruction booklet and quality components so your finished instrument will be almost identical to our 50 Series dulcimers. We've helped on the preliminary assembly the sides are bent to shape, the top and back are precut, the head is shaped, slotted and drilled and the fingerboard is pre-fretted. Our kits don't require any special tools or skills to assemble... just a few hours of your time.
