The Bearclaw OM.
The Holy Grail, and you don't even have to set foot in Glastonberry Abbey!!
We had another of these a few years ago and it was equally stunning. The general opinion was that this may well be one of the best guitars available at any price.
The traditional OM is generally considered to be the best balanced of the instruments from the old makers. Since Eric Schoenberg re-discovered the value of this extremely rare instrument, folks have been flocking to the size. It has tonal balance and physical balance. It may be tonally the best balanced guitar for finger-style every made.
This instrument is the prettiest and the most beutiful I havc ever played. If it doesn't sell I'm not going to be the least bit disappointed. In fact I'll probably be pleased. The availability of old growth Brazilian is not getting any better - or cheaper
Old Growth Brazilian Rosewood in one of the best designs for a guitar, ever! This beauty is amazing; sustain, projection, volume, delicacy, beauty, elegance, easy of play, comfort,
This guitar can be had, including Calton Case for US $4,400.00. This is frankly, unheard of for a Brazilian Rosewood guitar with the kind of craftsmanship that Northwood can bring to the bench. It really won't last long. I'm going to be showing it off wherever I can.
